Alkaline Buffer™ is a phosphate-free buffer solution designed to raise pH and alkalinity and control acidity with Acid Buffer™. Adjusts pH from 7.2 to 8.5.
Alkaline Buffer™1.2kg is a phosphate-free buffer solution designed to raise pH and alkalinity and control acidity with Acid Buffer™. Adjusts the pH from 7.2 to 8.5 .
Discus Buffer® is designed to replicate the natural environment of Discus (low pH and low GH (total hardness)). Discus Buffer® will lower the pH and keep it lower. It is packaged based on phosphates and is free of carbonates. It will also soften water by removing calcium, magnesium, and other divalent cations.

Malawi/Victoria Buffer™ is a mixture of carbonate salts designed to improve the natural environment of cichlids by increasing hardness, buffering capacity and pH. It is formulated to maintain the pH of 7.8 to 8.4. For optimal replication of the Malawi/Victoria environment, use with Cichlid Lake Salt™.
SEACHEM Tanganyika Buffer (250g) helps improve the cichlid environment by increasing water hardness, buffer capacity and regulating pH between 9.0 and 9.4.
Betta Basics™ is designed to provide an optimal environment for betta fish and plants. Betta Basics™ removes chlorine, chloramine and detoxifies ammonia. It stabilizes the pH of the water at 7 and provides a healthy environment for fish and plants.
TETRA - pH/KH Minus - 250ml - Safe reduction of pH and KH
TETRA pH/KH Minus 250 ml is a solution designed to easily and gently adjust water parameters in a freshwater aquarium. This treatment helps lower carbonate hardness (KH) , which also leads to a gradual decrease in pH, resulting in water better suited to certain ornamental fish species. It is particularly suitable for tanks requiring softer water, with a KH around 4 °dH and a pH below 7.5 . Its measuring cap allows for practical and precise use, whether for occasional adjustments or regular maintenance. It's a simple addition to any maintenance routine to keep the water more stable and consistent with your fish's needs.
Gradually reduces KH to help achieve softer, better-balanced water.
Promotes a controlled decrease in pH for conditions suitable for freshwater fish.
Simple dosing with measuring cap for precise and regular aquarium maintenance.
Tetra pH/KH Plus increases carbonate hardness (KH) with precision and control. The pH depends on the KH and the carbon dioxide (CO2) content. Also, if the CO2 level is constant, the pH can only be influenced by the KH.
Discus Buffer ® is designed to reproduce the natural environment of Discus (low pH and low GH (total hardness)). Discus Buffer® will lower the pH and keep it lower. It is packaged based on phosphates and is free of carbonates. It will also soften water by removing calcium, magnesium, and other divalent cations.
SEACHEM Tanganyika Buffer (500g) helps improve the environment of cichlids by increasing water hardness, buffer capacity and regulating pH between 9.0 and 9.4.
American Cichlid Salt is a chemically sound blend of salts designed to replicate the natural environment of American Cichlids. It contains all physiologically essential elements such as magnesium, calcium, sodium, potassium and includes trace elements such as iron, aluminum and iodide. American Cichlid Salt is formulated so that dosages vary depending on the origin of the species and should only be added when setting up an aquarium or during water changes.

How to adjust the pH and KH present in the aquarium?
pH and KH adjustment for freshwater aquarium
pH (potential hydrogen) is an indicator of acidity (if pH is below 7 ) or alkalinity (if pH is above 7 ). A pH of 7 is considered neutral .
Depending on where your fish come from , it is important to adjust the pH : for example, fish from South America or Southeast Asianeed an acid pH, around 4.0 to 5.0 . In contrast, fish from African lakes require a basic pH , around 8.0 .
The KH (or complete alkalimetric title - TAC) represents the carbonate hardness of the water. It measures the levels of calcium and magnesium from the bicarbonates and carbonates present in the water.
The KH makes it possible to check the buffering capacity of water , or its ability to stabilize the pH : thus, the higher the KH, the more stable the pH .
It is therefore an important parameter to check , in particular through regular tests .
