It softens water by precipitation of calcium and magnesium while eliminating chlorine, chloramine and ammonia. The use of Neutral Regulator® makes other conditioning unnecessary. To lower the pH below 7, use Neutral Regulator® with Acid Regulator™ (or DiscusBuffer®). To raise pH above 7, use with Alkaline Regulator™. All of these products will improve and stabilize the freshwater aquarium environment.
DIRECTIONS: Use 1 level teaspoon for every 40-80 L once or twice a month (or as often as needed to maintain pH at 7). Neutral Regulator® can be added directly to the aquarium at any time. Very hard water may need to double or triple the dose. The ideal method is to dissolve the product in the replacement water when adding water or changing existing water. Contains phosphate buffers and conditioning agents. Safe for all types of freshwater fish acclimated to a neutral pH.
