The ICP-OES seawater analysis system is a precise and economical analysis for both amateur and professional aquarists. It allows for the monitoring of over 50 water parameters (macro and trace elements) in your aquarium.
This PRO kit allows the analysis of aquarium water with nitrates, fluoride, kH and reverse osmosis water.
Inductively coupled plasma (ICP) analytical techniques can quantitatively measure the elemental content of a material.
The sampled solution is then vaporized in the core of an induced argon plasma, which can reach temperatures of approximately 8000 °C. At such a high temperature, all chemical species of the substances to be analyzed undergo atomization, ionization, and thermal excitation, and can then be detected and quantified with an optical emission spectrometer (OES).

With the ARCOS II ICP-OES analyzer, we have chosen a top-performing instrument in its class. It is characterized by its high precision and is used wherever stringent element analysis requirements are necessary. It is therefore no surprise that with the ARCOS II, we can detect trace elements at concentrations below 1 µg/L (0.001 mg/L).
