We start with half the maintenance dose indicated on the bottle, and we watch how the skimmer reacts to this (so that we can adjust it a little drier, in height or via the drain, in case of over- skimming). Not all aquarium systems are the same and can react moderately to very strongly to a normal dose of skimming. You literally see the product working. By increasing the dose little by little, you can more or less play with the skimming capacity. Attention, these parts (in yellow) of the skimmer must be cleaned every week.
For the first week, add this daily (the first 5 days). From the 2nd week, 1x per week until the bottle is finished. For new systems: 5ml/40L per day for the first 2 weeks, for established systems: 5ml/100L per week.
