Hidden Overflow
The NYOS Opus G2 aquarium features an external overflow tray cleverly integrated into the back wall, eliminating internal obstructions and maximizing space for your decorations and fish. This design also makes cleaning the back wall easier.

The NYOS Opus G2 is offered with two furniture options: Pro-Line or Slim-Line, each designed to combine robustness and aesthetics.
Robust Design
These pieces of furniture are constructed from moisture-resistant panels, compliant with EN 312, and coated with melamine resin, making them extremely resistant to scratches and impacts. They also feature waterproof pads inside for added protection.
Sustainability and Respect for the Environment
The wood used comes from legal sources, is certified according to ISO 38200, and is produced in FSC-certified facilities. With formaldehyde emissions well below legal limits, this furniture is made from 30% recycled materials and 45% by-products from the wood industry, thus reducing its carbon footprint.
Ease of Use and Optimized Height
The NYOS Opus G2 range of furniture is taller than that of the previous generation, offering improved ease of use. It features an integrated push-to-open door system for simplified access.

3 - The technical part of Opus G2
Compact and Efficient PVC Piping Installation
The PVC pipes of the NYOS® OPUS® G2 stand out for their increased durability and safety compared to traditional piping. Their design allows for quick and easy installation, optimizing available space.
Advanced Sump System with Large Skimming Chamber
The NYOS® OPUS® G2 sump is equipped with a large main chamber that can simultaneously accommodate several devices such as a skimmer, a media reactor, or an algae reactor, maintaining a constant water level of approximately 21 cm (8 inches).
Adjustable and Silent Main Drain with Backup Drain
The aquarium features a main drain with an adjustable valve, designed to significantly reduce noise during water flow. A backup drain system is also integrated, ensuring increased safety and simplified maintenance.
Durable Nylon Filter
Included in the NYOS® OPUS® G2, a nylon filter is designed for extended use, offering improved efficiency and durability compared to standard filters.
Large Capacity Reverse Osmosis Water Tank
The refill tank, measuring 50 cm in height, is designed to store enough reverse osmosis water for about a week, thus simplifying aquarium water management.
4 - Functionality and structure of the settling tank
Room 1
Sedimentation chamber for the outlet water from the exposure tank.
Room 2
The filter sock filters dirt particles out of the water.
Room 3
The main filtration chamber, also called the skimming chamber, maintains a constant water level. Additional filters, such as a media reactor, can be installed there.
Room 4
Bubble trap, in which a coarse filter sponge can be placed if necessary.
Room 5
Return chamber. In this chamber, water is returned to the main tank via the return pump. As the water level in the return chamber fluctuates, this is where the evaporated water must be distributed via the top-off system.
