Care Magnet

The "Care Magnet" concept is a new design trend in the field of aquarium cleaning magnets. It consists of an ergonomic handle and two blades in “high tech” plastic material, resistant to wear and impacts. Care Magnet is slim, patented and significantly more compact than traditional algae magnets with a large cleaning surface. It is very discreet and can therefore remain in the aquarium without affecting the overall image.

Why Care?

The internal magnet is more than 3 mm from the glass, preventing the jamming of grains of sand between the glass and the magnet. The two blades made of special plastic material remove and evacuate algae much more effectively than a flat cleaning surface, almost as effectively as a metal blade. The service life of the plastic blades ranges from several months to approx. a full year. The low hydraulic resistance during cleaning as well as a consequent contact pressure make the unhooking of the magnet almost impossible.
For glass aquariums with old algae encrustations or many calcareous algae that are particularly difficult to remove, we recommend replacing the large plastic blade with the special stainless steel blade supplied with the set.

The patented principle of using two blades of different lengths makes it possible to create two different contact pressures. The short blade is designed to remove heavily encrusted algae, the wide blade on the contrary is more suitable for a large cleaning surface.
