Easy-Life Nitro and Easy-Life Fosfo are used to compensate for deficiencies , respectively of nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P) . A deficiency of these macro-elements irremediably leads to disturbed plant growth and even growth arrest.
In plant aquaria with little or no fish, N and P deficiencies can quickly occur, because little or no fish food is used. Even in aquariums with a very high concentration of plants, this can quickly be the case. Nitro (contains NO3 nitrate) and Fosfo (contains PO4 phosphate) immediately compensate for these deficiencies.
The ratio between nitrate (NO3) and phosphate (PO4) is usually determined using the so-called Redfield ratio. See below for a detailed explanation.
Dosage: after the measurement of phosphates, 10 ml of product per 500 liters increases the PO4 concentration by =0.1 mg/l.
