A semi-fresh food rich in natural marine ingredients

BEA Fresh Selection Tartare offers a fresh-like diet specially designed to meet the needs of fish and corals in reef aquariums. Its formula is based on a high proportion of marine ingredients, selected for their nutritional richness and natural palatability.

The recipe contains 38% fish roe, 20% mussels, 14% red shrimp, 14% fish and 9% algae. This combination naturally provides proteins, amino acids, peptides, phospholipids, as well as vitamins and minerals.

The tartare is also rich in omega-3, particularly DHA and EPA, essential fatty acids for the proper functioning of fish organisms. The carotenoids naturally present in crustaceans contribute to the nutritional intake associated with maintaining natural colours.

Thanks to its moist texture, rich in pieces, this food is an excellent alternative to traditional dry foods, while helping to diversify the meals of aquarium inhabitants.

A particularly appetising texture for difficult-to-feed fish

Some marine fish are particularly difficult at mealtimes, especially when they have recently been introduced or are not used to pellets. BEA Fresh Selection Tartare stands out for its tender, soft texture and high palatability, which may encourage food acceptance by the most selective species.

The presence of genuine marine ingredients and the product's semi-fresh consistency offer a food whose characteristics more closely resemble those of natural prey.

For particularly wary fish, it is possible to disperse small quantities in the water to stimulate their interest. Once the food has been accepted, its consistency can be adapted to their feeding habits.

Food suitable for fish and corals in reef aquariums

One of the main advantages of BEA Fresh Selection Tartare is its fully adjustable texture. Depending on the amount of water added, it can be distributed as a thick cream containing pieces or transformed into a finer suspension.

For fish, a relatively thick preparation helps retain easily identifiable and consumable pieces. For corals capable of capturing fine food particles, greater dilution in the aquarium water produces a suspension suitable for targeted feeding.

This versatility is particularly useful in community reef aquariums housing different species with varied feeding habits.

The quantities distributed should remain appropriate for the animals' consumption in order to limit uneaten food and the accumulation of organic matter in the water.

Dosage and use of BEA Fresh Selection Tartare 100 ml

BEA Fresh Selection Tartare is easy to use with a small spoon or clean spatula. Simply take a small quantity of food and distribute it directly, or mix it with aquarium water in a separate container.

The dosage depends on the number of fish, their size and the feeding needs of the corals. No fixed volume is recommended by the manufacturer.

For first-time use, it is advisable to start with small quantities, then gradually increase them according to the animals' response.

  • For fish: distribute the tartare directly or slightly diluted, while maintaining a texture rich in pieces.
  • For corals: mix a small quantity with aquarium water to obtain a fine suspension.
  • For difficult-to-feed fish: gradually disperse small portions to encourage them to discover the food.

It is preferable to distribute only an amount that will be consumed quickly, in order to preserve water quality and limit unnecessary nutrient input.

Convenient storage without constant refrigeration

Thanks to a process combining brine and controlled fermentation, BEA Fresh Selection Tartare offers particularly convenient storage without requiring constant refrigeration.

The product must be stored between 6 °C and 25 °C, in its glass jar carefully closed after each use. According to the manufacturer, it can be stored for up to approximately one year after opening, provided good handling and storage practices are followed.

To prevent contamination, it is essential to use a perfectly clean spoon, spatula or pair of tongs. No utensil that has been in contact with aquarium water should be placed in the jar.

The preparation is supplied in a 100 ml glass jar and contains no added preservatives.
