Why use PO4?

In aquariums, phosphate enters the water primarily through the digestion of fish and through debris that falls into the water. In ponds, phosphates arrive in the water mainly with the foliage and the plants or algae which wither. If the circumstances are not favorable, the level of phosphate reached can be 100 times higher, even natural. The inevitable consequence would be an almost explosive popularity of unwanted algae.

How to use PO4?

Put the water to be tested into the test tube, then the reagent into the test tube, put the test tube into the holding block, and pay attention to the value on the color chart. Application: For new freshwater/marine aquariums: Once a week. And to control algae problems and tap water.

Recommended phosphate level:

Freshwater aquarium (community): 00.4 mg/l Malawi-Tandika aquarium: 00.4 mg/l
Aquarium with few fish (aquascape): 0.11.5 mg/l
Saltwater aquarium: 0.1 mg/l Pond: <0.05 mg/l

1 test kit for approximately 50 measurements, 3 reagents (2x reagent 2), 2 glass test tubes with screw cap, syringe, measuring cup, comparator and color chart. Reagent refills sold separately.
