Set of 2 filtration bags for receiving fine filtration material such as activated carbon, antiphos Fe or other granules. The bags are equipped with a zipper closure. They are suitable for fresh water or sea water.
For best results, PhosBond™ should be rinsed before use and placed to maximize water flow through it. It can be used in a cartridge filter or a fluidized bed filter. The use of such a filter bag is also possible.
Use 60 ml (1/4 cup) for 200 L of salt water or 400 L of fresh water. Leave the product in place for 4 days, then test for phosphate or silicate concentrations. If the concentration of the component you are trying to decrease has not dropped to around 0.02 mg/L, replace the PhosBond™, otherwise leave it in place until levels resume. As long as the concentrations remain under control, the product is not exhausted. More processing is not recommended. PhosBond™ is not an exchange resin and does not release into water. It does not release phosphate or silicate into the water and can be removed, dried and returned to service until exhausted. Continuous use of small amounts is preferable to intermittent use of large amounts.
