FAUNA MARIN - Ultra Phos 500ml - Anti-phosphate resin

Ultra-Phos is a new aluminum -based adsorber that safely removes phosphates and harmful substances from the aquarium. Pollutants are bound to the surface of the Ultra Power-Phos and will not be released again .
Ultra Power-Phos can maintain very low nutrient concentrations in your tank. The growth of unwanted algae will be stopped and the corals will return to their natural colors.

Dosage instructions and recommendations:

important: Changes in the aquarium should be controlled and slow. Start with 50 gr per 200 L of water. After 14 days, the dose can be increased up to 100 gr per 200 L , do not overdose!
Check the phosphate concentration regularly with reliable test kits.

In case the PO4 level begins to increase again , change Ultra-Phos . Do not use more than 100g per 200L. We recommend placing the material in a fluidized bed filter, then it will provide its maximum performance.

In case of extremely low PO4 levels and undetectable nitrate levels Ultra-Phos should not be used.

Ultra-Phos is extremely strong and suitable for aquariums with a high nutrient load. Ultra-Phos also removes unwanted organic compounds and yellowing. In aquariums with high organic load (yellowish water), it may take some time before the PO4 reduction becomes measurable. This is a normal process, you will notice the Ultra-Phos changing color from white to yellow and the much clearer water in the aquarium.

In the event that you are using the Ultra-Phos in a fluidized bed filter, please consider the much higher efficiency of the material. Reduce the amount of Ultra-Phos by 50% .

Ultra-Phos will get hot, when first immersed in water . Do not rinse the material.
