ELIMI-PHOS Longlife is a special granule with a particularly long activity for the effective elimination of phosphates. This product consists of pure and dry iron oxide granules specially developed for the treatment of drinking water. An optimal grain size of these special granules ensures easy and clean handling without the risk of giving the aquarium water an excessive red colour. The phosphates are so strongly attached to the ELIMI-PHOS Longlife granules that a new release is no longer possible. ELIMI-PHOS Longlife can be used for the elimination of phosphates as well as for the maintenance of water in general by introducing it like activated carbon. After only a short time, the growing conditions for the invertebrates improve markedly and the growth of unwanted algae is prevented.

Use approximately 100 g ELIMI-PHOS per 200 l of aquarium water. Introduce the adsorbent into the filter or hang the bag in a place where the current is strong. In aquariums heavily polluted with yellow substances, start with 100 g ELIMI-PHOS per 500 liters to allow invertebrates and plants to get used to the new conditions.

ELIMI-PHOS can remain in the aquarium without detriment, until their absorption capacity is exhausted. If the phosphate content increases again after the granulate has been used up, it should be replaced with a new ELIMI-PHOS.
