Description

Renew™ is ideal for use in systems where the phosphate released from conventional activated carbons is a concern. Renew™ is also less aggressive than activated carbon, making it well suited to reef and planted aquariums. It is also beneficial for use in freshwater aquariums where the pH raising property of many carbons is not an asset. Renew™ will remove organics and particles in the submicron range; it will also help control ammonia, nitrates and phosphates.

Instructions

Renew™ should be used in exactly the same way as activated charcoal. Use 250 ml for every 120-160 L (30-40 US gallons). Use in filter bag only. Although Renew ™ is clean, it is advisable to rinse it before use. It lasts about the same as charcoal (4-6 weeks).
