TRITON LABS - Trace Base DETOX - 100ml

Common sources of copper in reef aquariums are from a faulty pump, broken wiring, biogranules, or from tap water that is not properly filtered by the reverse osmosis unit. To use the product, start by removing the carbon from your system, keep the skimmer running and detox for 3 days. During this phase, the aquarium water will remain brownish in color due to the organic matter present in the DETOX. This is safe for corals.

The brown color will disappear with the heavy metals that are bound to it. This is the only product on the market that we know of that removes copper to levels undetectable on the Triton test. Consult your Triton ICP-OES test results for specific dosing needs for your aquarium.
