The JECOD EP-8500 is designed to ensure stable and powerful circulation in large aquariums. With its 24V DC motor and compatible 100–240V / 50–60Hz power supply, it delivers consistent and reliable performance. Its adjustable flow rate allows for precise adjustment of the power output to suit the specific setup: a heavily stocked reef tank, a large planted aquarium, or a sump system requiring significant pumping power.

The maximum height of 5.2 meters ensures optimal efficiency even when the technical tank is positioned below the main tank. Flow management is simple via a Bluetooth mobile app or the included LCD controller , providing complete control without complex handling.

Submersible or external installation compatible with fresh and salt water

Versatile, the EP-8500 can be installed either submerged or externally , depending on the installation constraints. Its bottom-mounted suction system promotes efficient water intake and limits the risk of air being drawn in, even when the water level in the settling tank is lower.

Fully compatible with both freshwater and saltwater , it is ideal for reef environments thanks to the absence of copper components. Its ceramic shaft resists wear and corrosion, ensuring high durability, even during continuous operation.

Sine wave technology and intelligent motor protection

Despite its power, the pump remains surprisingly quiet. Sinusoidal wave technology ensures smooth operation, reduces vibrations, and significantly limits noise. Even at high flow rates, it remains suitable for installation in a living area.

The electronic IC continuously monitors operation. In the event of a lack of water or rotor blockage, the pump automatically shuts off to protect the motor. This dry-run protection extends the equipment's lifespan. With a maximum power consumption of approximately 65 W , it combines power and energy efficiency.
