Ozone hose connector. Ozone improves skimmer performance and removes all coloring substances from aquarium water.

Removable mechanical filtration Postfilter on 300 µm nylon fibers at the skimmer outlet with reduced biological effect. This filter does not promote the formation of nitrates, even during long cleaning intervals. It can also be filled with filter media such as activated carbon or anti-phosphates.

Stable base, also has a function to reduce the water circulation speed in the lower part of the skimmer.

The mixing chamber with double mixing flow ensures high binding efficiency of organic substances.

Booster Ring allows fine regulation of the skimming power and adapts the internal water level of the skimmer in order to obtain more or less dry foam.

Intermediate chamber with phase water: the Anti Overfoaming System principle prevents the skimmer from boiling over and regulates the skimming sensitivity based on the surface tension of the aquarium water and the water level in the filter. The skimmer works independently and automatically adjusts its skimming power to the best possible efficiency.

TUNZE ® Hydrofoamer Silence 9410.040 is an air-water mixing pump specially designed for protein skimmers. The Hydrofoamer generates a large quantity of fine air bubbles with a diameter between 0.1 and 0.3 mm. It requires only 11 W (15 W) of power consumption at an air flow rate of 600 l/h, which places it at the top of performance in this product class. With 900 l/h of water flow, the Hydrofoamer also ensures the water supply to the skimmer.

Recommended for saltwater aquariums up to 1,200 liters.
