Flash Skimming

The “Flash Skimming” principle guarantees efficient foam production with high performance.
Principle: Surface water with a high protein content is intensely mixed with air by the Foamer TUNZE ® . The different substances to be extracted such as proteins, cellulose, dead cells, etc. immediately agglomerate on the surface of these fine bubbles with a diameter between 0.1 and 0.3 mm. The mixture of water and air bubbles is then relaxed and stabilized in the body of the skimmer, the treated water returns to the aquarium and the air bubbles loaded with the various materials are pushed towards the evacuation cup . The patented principle of the Anti Overfoaming System chamber with its process water prevents runaway of the skimmer and regulates its performance according to the water level and the organic load. Compared to devices of higher construction or having a longer contact time, the skimmer with the “Flash Skimming” principle achieves high skimming yields and avoids the phenomena of protein releases. Substances stuck to the air bubbles are not separated or drawn back into the aquarium water.
