The key to successful marine aquariums lies in stable parameters. Using Reef Salt+ during regular 10% water changes creates optimal conditions for coral growth and development. High-quality salt not only promotes better growth, it also promotes the construction of new skeletons, ion exchange, improves coloration, and the natural process of photosynthesis.
What is the dosage?
- For optimal use, Reef Salt+ should be dissolved in RODI water at a temperature between 24 and 25°C and a salinity of 33 ppt.
- Dissolve 390 grams of salt in 10 liters of RODI water.
- Mix for about 15 minutes. Once completely dissolved, the salt water is ready to use immediately.
- Dissolved salt should be used within 3 days. Evaporation changes the water's parameters, so keep prepared salt water tightly closed. If storing for several days, check its salinity before using.
