Product Details

The neutral floor substrate: Manado by JBL

Vigorous plant growth, algae prevention: efficient colonization of soil bacteria and optimal growth of plant roots thanks to the natural porous structure. Filter unloading. Clear and limpid water.
Ideal for fish, invertebrates and plants: no diffusion of unwanted substances into the water. Rounded granules protect the sensitive barbels of bottom-dwelling fish.
Storage capacity: the natural substrate absorbs excess nutrients and releases them when needed.
Included in delivery: Manado soil substrate. Available in various sizes.

Good plant care:

This natural substrate activates the flora in the soil and is ideal for plant maintenance. This battery-effect nutrient reserve (diffuses nutrients until its stocks are exhausted and can be recharged by adding fertilizer) is inert to water and its granules are rounded.

Use :

Rinse briefly under warm tap water before use to remove any traces of abrasion from transport.

Calculation formula:

Correct amount of soil substrate: length (cm) x thickness (cm): 200 = liters of substrate for 5 cm of thickness.
