To minimize this effect, simply boil or soak the wood for a few weeks before installation. Additionally, this wood can slightly reduce the pH of your water, which is ideal for recreating an authentic tropical environment. Regular monitoring of the pH is recommended.
Minimal maintenance for maximum beauty
When you first install it, you may notice a slight whitish deposit called saprolegnia, but don't worry: it disappears naturally in a few weeks. You can speed up the process by gently brushing the affected areas.
