This natural wood is not only beautiful but also safe for all your aquatic animals. Although this wood naturally releases tannins, these are harmless and faithfully reproduce the conditions of wild aquatic habitats such as those of the Amazon. To minimize this effect, simply boil or soak the wood for a few weeks before installation. Additionally, this wood can slightly reduce the pH of your water, which is ideal for recreating an authentic tropical environment. Regular monitoring of the pH is recommended.

Minimal maintenance for maximum beauty

When you first install it, you may notice a slight whitish deposit called saprolegnia, but don't worry: it disappears naturally in a few weeks. You can speed up the process by gently brushing the affected areas. Once this is over, your decor will remain stable, beautiful and durable, requiring very little maintenance to maintain all its natural charm.
