What is the purpose of the ReefMat?
The filter features a reliable, one-piece level sensor and a unique smart motor that manages and controls the length of fabric used. It connects via Wi-Fi to the ReefBeat Red Sea smart ecosystem. It alerts you if the fabric is torn or notifies you in advance that it needs changing, and even displays a daily usage log.
Why use the ReefBeat app?
With the app, you can rest assured that you'll be notified if the fabric is torn, jammed, or worn. Furthermore, the smart motor unit will automatically stop the motor until the roller is unblocked or replaced.
You will be able to control the rotation based on your average daily usage and the application will allow you to define the number of days before the end of the rotation.
There is continuous performance monitoring with a detailed record of distribution by hour and by day for the current roll and aggregated data from previous rolls.

How do I install ReefMat?
Rest assured, the ReefMat filter comes fully assembled. It's designed to be easily suspended from the front of the sump, but it also has floor installation options (optional feet). The motor block and inlet pipe can be positioned on either side of the ReefMat, depending on the specific needs of each installation. An anti-clogging inlet hose (32mm) with universal PVC connector (suitable for metric and US hoses) is supplied for easy connection of ReefMat, directly to the aquarium water line or dedicated pump.
