UV-C sterilizer for reverse osmosis – healthy and safe reverse osmosis water
The AQUA-MEDIC Mini UV-RO is a must-have for anyone looking to take their reverse osmosis water treatment to the next level. It simply installs at the outlet of your reverse osmosis system, without the need for complex tools. And what makes it so effective is its high-performance UV-C LED, which emits light between 260 and 280 nm , a range that is incredibly effective against harmful microorganisms.
The result: more than 99.99% of germs, bacteria and pathogens are neutralized, significantly reducing the risk of infection for your aquarium inhabitants. And unlike conventional UV lamps, the Mini UV-RO is completely mercury-free , requires no preheating and starts as soon as the water begins to circulate.
With a UV dose of 45 to 48 mJ/cm² and an ideal flow rate of up to 3 liters per minute , it is perfectly calibrated for domestic reverse osmosis systems. You therefore benefit from perfectly sterile water without the addition of chemicals. And thanks to its lifespan of 10,000 hours , you install it once, and you are good to go for a long time.
Its operation is as safe as it is efficient: a valve detects the pressure and automatically cuts off the power supply if there is no more water, preventing any overheating or unnecessary damage. With its compact dimensions (138 x 23 mm) and a power consumption of just 5 W , this sterilizer is discreet but essential. It works with a 12 V power supply and an included transformer (220-240 V).
