Why use MyAqua?
The MF4000 is ideally suited as a resin filter downstream of an osmosis system, but it can also be used universally. This is made possible, on the one hand, by the integrated water-neutral plastic thread of 1" and the reduction from 1" to 3/4" and, on the other hand, by the ¾" connection pieces to ¼" included in the delivery. The filter is pressure-resistant up to 28 bar and is characterized by a double O-ring.
A 4000ml filter cartridge is provided in the 20 x 4.5 inch filter housing. Fine filters are installed on both sides of the internal filter cartridge. They ensure that suspended solids do not enter the internal filter or parts of the filter material of the internal filter. The supplied internal filter cartridge can be refilled, but can also be replaced with internal cartridges of a similar size.
How to install it?
- Mount the included wall bracket in the desired location and screw the MF4000 to the wall bracket.
- Now remove the main body from the MF4000 using the supplied filter cartridge wrench.
- Remove the cartridge from the main body and open it with the top screw cap.
- Fill the inner cartridge with the filter material, screw the lid back on and put the cartridge back into the filter body.
- Screw the base body to the filter cover. Use the filter cartridge key for this.
- Connect the water source and a drain hose to the designated water inlets (IN) and water outlets (OUT). Make sure that the pipes are connected correctly and tightly.
Attention :
The multi-filter must be securely fastened to prevent it from tipping over! So use the supplied wall bracket!
The maximum pressure resistance of 28 bar must not be exceeded!
Purge the housing by pressing and holding the red purge button (on top of the filter cover) until water comes out of the housing.
The manufacturer recommends using the supplied filter sponges.
If you want to use the attached transitions, make sure that the O-rings also provided are correctly inserted. You can also wrap the sides of the thread several times with the teflon tape included in the delivery.
Before using the ¾'' to ¼'' transitions, you should note the following: Before inserting the pipe, remove the blue retaining rings and press down on the receptacle. Once the pipe is connected, you must replace the locking rings.
