The colors of the corals are naturally bright and resplendent, the growth of their skeleton and the formation of new tissues are stimulated. These reserves contribute to the solidity of the corals and make them more resistant. Fish also benefit from the bioactive substances by developing an effective protection of the mucous membranes. To obtain a salinity of 32 to 35‰ (practical salinity unit), dissolve 35 ml of BIO-ACTIF per liter of water in a container while stirring. The specific gravity of the saline solution should be between 1.025 and 1.027 at a temperature of 25°C.

Attention: when measuring the salinity of freshly prepared sea salt with a hydrometer using BIO-ACTIVE salt, a salinity of about 10% below reality is measured. We recommend measuring the density using the Tropic Marin ® hydrometer.

The sea water thus obtained can be used as soon as the salt is completely dissolved. A slight turbidity of the sea water thus prepared is normal and shows that the bio-active substances achieve their effect.

Stable biological conditions for the maintenance of delicate marine organisms appear only a few weeks after the installation of a new aquarium and with water mixing and under lighting. A weekly partial water change with Tropic Marin ® BIO-ACTIF up to 10% helps to maintain the quality of the water in which your proteges will feel good.
