Tropic Marin ® PRO-REEF sea salt is specially designed for the specific needs of the reef aquarium: the optimized concentrations of calcium and magnesium promote the growth of corals. A suitable buffer capacity and a balanced pH stabilize the natural values of the water, in particular the carbonate hardness, even when using a limestone reactor. Manual:
To obtain a salinity of 32 to 35‰ (practical salinity unit), dissolve 35 ml of PRO-REEF per liter of water in a container while stirring. The sea water thus prepared can be used as soon as the salt has completely dissolved and the solution is clear. The relative density of the saline solution should be between 1.025 and 1.027 at a temperature of 25°C.
For a new aquarium, a biologically stable environment is obtained in a few weeks under the effect of lighting and water recirculation, conducive to the development of marine species. Once a week, a partial renewal of the water (approximately 10%), using the Tropic Marin ® PRO-REEF solution, makes it possible to maintain a satisfactory level of quality for your farms.
