Available in 125cm (500 litres) or 160cm (650 litres), the Reefer Peninsula offers an impressive and stylish room divider solution with the full functionality of our advanced REEFER™ systems. A reef aquarium without ultra-clear glass reinforcements is polished into a perfect peninsula, giving you a fascinating three-sided view. This gives a complex and intriguing side to any reef setting.

These 60cm high aquariums are placed on elegant and robust furniture covered with epoxy paint on all sides. The cabinet includes a ventilated compartment dedicated to the cold unit and control systems. The doors can be assembled on either side depending on the layout of the room.

The Peninsula's unique design with the overflow to the side of the aquarium rather than the center also makes it ideal for installation in the corner of a room.

Red Sea 's REEFER™ Series provide experienced aquarists with a solid foundation for building a marine or fully equipped aquarium. The REEFER™ Series combine ultra-white glass aquariums with a very contemporary design, professional water treatment systems including evaporation-compensated settling and Red Sea 's specific silent water descent system. Settling of REEFER™ Peninsula

The REEFER™ Peninsula have advanced decantations with the following characteristics:

A height-adjustable skimmer compartment, allowing you to set the water height between 21 and 27 cm for optimal skimming performance

“Refugium-Ready” settling with removable 2-position wall to choose which settling volume will be allocated to the skimmer and the reactors and which volume will be dedicated to the refuge.
4 micron bag filters
Larger osmosis water reserves that can be moved when needed during pump maintenance.

REEFER™ specifications

REEFER™ aquariums are made of thick ultra-clear glass with beveled edges to support their sleek, modern braceless design. The aquarium is placed on a recessed surface giving the impression that it floats above the perfectly aligned furniture. The Marine-Spec plywood cabinet which houses the decantation (and for the larger models which also includes a ventilated space dedicated to the cold unit) has doors carefully covered with waterproof epoxy paint.

REEFER™ Peninsula Water Treatment System

Removable combs surround the top of the central overflow which houses the downpipe, return pipe and multi-directional nozzle. In the event of blockage of the regulated down tube, a safety tube allows the water to return directly to the decantation. On entering the decantation, the water passes through a battery of 4 sliding Micron bag mechanical filters for easy access. The Peninsula's main decanter compartment features an adjustable outlet valve that allows the water height to be set to the optimum level for your skimmer between 21 and 27cm. A unique feature of this settling is that it is Refugium-Ready. It has a removable partition for the main compartment that can be installed in 2 positions. You can decide how much of the sediment will be given to the skimmer and reactors, and to the refugium. lift pump compartment. To ensure a constant level in the lift pump compartment, all REEFER™ decanters incorporate automatic evaporation compensation to maintain and regulate the flow of water through the entire system. The connection kit is complete, all the tubes are with quick couplings and do not require any gluing.
