The MAX NANO are fully equipped. They have all the equipment needed to maintain a reef aquarium, so you don't have to worry about equipment selection or compatibility.
Each integrated piece of equipment has been designed following Red Sea 's 30 years of research into the needs of corals in artificial environments, ensuring optimal coral growth and coloration.
MAX NANOs are ideal for beginners who want to learn how to grow their own corals, as well as experienced reef reefers looking for a tank that doesn't take up too much space or time.
The compact size of the MAX NANO Cube allows it to fit into any space, with a sleek, modern look that adds the perfect touch to any room.
What are the characteristics?
Surface suction
Surface suction provides highly efficient filtration by ensuring that only water from the surface of the aquarium enters the rear filter compartment. Surface suction is easy to remove for regular maintenance.
Integrated control box
The MAX NANO features a control box with easy-to-access separate on/off switches for the separation and circulation pumps, allowing easy power supply and maintenance.
ReedLed lighting
MAX NANO is illuminated by ReefLED 50 Red Sea , whose intensity and spectrum are used 100% by the corals, ensuring optimal growth and coloring of the corals. Additionally, the ReefLED 50 features a moon channel to provide low light levels for coral-safe nighttime viewing.
Automatic leveling system
Automatic top-up system with 1.5 liter osmosis water reserve, hidden behind the screen above the decantation. This system maintains a constant water level despite 3 days of evaporation.
Rotating decantation cover screen
The rotating screen allows simple access to the post-filtration chamber while maintaining the aesthetics of the aquarium.
Ultra-clear glass
The MAX NANO aquarium has no reinforcements and is made of 8mm ultra-clear glass, providing an excellent visual experience.
Micron bag filter
The 225 micron bag removes large waste particles from the water.
Protein skimmer
At the heart of the filtration system is the NANO Red Sea Protein Skimmer, which effectively removes organic waste from the water.
Multi-directional outlet nozzle
Filtered water returns to the aquarium through multi-directional adjustable nozzles, ensuring there are no stagnant areas.
Filter basket
The rear decanter includes a basket for additional chemical filtration, such as REEF-SPEC Red Sea Carbon, which comes with the MAX NANO.
Bubble trap sponge
A bubble trap sponge prevents air bubbles from returning to the aquarium.
Circulation pump
The Sicce 950 L/h return pump circulates the entire water volume of the system approximately 10 times per hour.
Marine-Spec furniture (optional)
MAX NANOs are available with an optional marine-spec laminated chipboard cabinet, with water-resistant epoxy painted doors, push buttons and stainless steel damped hinges. MAX NANO furniture is available in black or white.
Coal
Both NANO models come with 100 grams of REEF-SPEC Red Sea Carbon, which is enough to maintain crystal clear water for the first two months.

ZOA Bacter is a concentrate of non-pathogenic live bacteria fixed on a maerl substrate, designed to stabilize the biological balance in both saltwater and freshwater aquariums. Its multi-strain consortium naturally competes with unwanted algae, lowers nitrates and phosphates through assimilation, and transforms organic deposits into resources for filtration. Result: cleaner windows, clear water and a healthier biotope. Fish and corals regain vitality and resistance (protection against vibrioses), while a beneficial biofilm is established to feed certain invertebrates.
