Settling of REEFER™ Peninsula

The REEFER™ Peninsula have advanced decantations with the following characteristics:

REEFER™ aquariums are made of thick ultra-clear glass with beveled edges to support their sleek, modern braceless design. The aquarium is placed on a recessed surface giving the impression that it floats above the perfectly aligned furniture. The Marine-Spec plywood cabinet which houses the decantation (and for the larger models which also includes a ventilated space dedicated to the cold unit) has doors carefully covered with waterproof epoxy paint.

Removable combs surround the top of the central overflow which houses the downpipe, return pipe and multi-directional nozzle. In the event of blockage of the regulated down tube, a safety tube allows the water to return directly to the decantation. On entering the decantation, the water passes through a battery of 4 sliding Micron bag mechanical filters for easy access. The Peninsula's main decanter compartment features an adjustable outlet valve that allows the water height to be set to the optimum level for your skimmer between 21 and 27cm. A unique feature of this settling is that it is Refugium-Ready. It has a removable partition for the main compartment that can be installed in 2 positions. You can decide how much of the sediment will be given to the skimmer and reactors, and to the refugium. lift pump compartment. To ensure a constant level in the lift pump compartment, all REEFER™ decanters incorporate automatic evaporation compensation to maintain and regulate the flow of water through the entire system.
