REEFER™ Features
The aquarium rests on a recessed base which makes it "float" above the cabinet, which perfectly matches the contour of the glass.
The “marine-spec” laminate cabinet that houses the decantation (and on larger models a compartment dedicated to the cold unit) is equipped with water-resistant doors covered with epoxy paint.
REEFER water treatment system
The water treatment system is the basis for excellent water quality. Surface water is actively sucked into the settling via the water drop adjustment valve. Removable combs surround the top of the central overflow which houses the downpipe, return pipe and multi-directional nozzle.
In the event of blockage of the regulated down tube, a safety tube allows the water to return directly to the decantation.
On entering the decantation, the water passes through 225 micron mechanical filters. It then arrives in the constant level filtration compartment suitable for all skimmers and other reactors. In order to remove any bubbles that may escape from the skimmer, the water passes through an anti-bubble waterfall before the lift pump compartment.
To ensure a constant level in the lift pump compartment, all REEFER™ decanters incorporate automatic evaporation compensation allowing a constant flow of water through the entire system.
The connection kit is complete, all the tubes are with quick couplings and do not require any gluing.
