SEACHEM - Reef Dip 250ml - Coral Disinfectant

Reef Dip™ contains elemental iodine complexed onto a protective layer of mud for gentle, gentle disinfection of corals. It is effective against bacteria, fungi and protozoa. It can be used prophylactically (without signs of disease) or to remedy diseased specimens. It is safe to use with both stony and soft corals. It is also safe for anemones and polyps.
Reef Dip™ provides a viscous protective complex that coats the coral and keeps the iodine in contact with the infected site for long periods of time. Also, the mud layer prevents the infection from re-entering the site.

DIRECTIONS: Do not use in the aquarium. Use in a separate container. Remove 4 L (1 gallon) of source aquarium water to a suitable container for soaking. Add 5-10 mL (1-2 caps) of Reef Dip™ and mix. Soak the coral specimen for 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the severity of the problem. In very severe cases, a double dose may be used. With clear, accessible lesions, the concentrate can be painted directly onto the lesions before immersing them. Observe animals during treatment for signs of adverse effects such as excess sliming.
