TROPIC MARIN - IOD - 50ml - Iodine for marine aquarium

No other trace element has so many varied effects as described for iodine: As a building block of thyroid hormone, iodine prevents the formation of goiter in fish. It is essential for the molting of crustaceans and contributes to the consolidation of the carapace of chitins. Coralline algae store iodine in the surface structure and gorgonians in their axial skeletons. Brown algae also strongly enrich this trace element.

During the tests, we find that Tropic Marin ® Iod strongly improves the ability to adapt to light as well as the dyeing of anthozoa, particularly for hard corals. In the marine aquarium, iodine being of an unstable nature, it should be regularly topped up. Tropic Marin ® Iod contains iodine in its most effective form, as elemental I2.

Composition

Tropic Marin ® Iod contains potassium iodide and iodine.

Dosage

Add one drop of Tropic Marin ®Iod per 200 l of aquarium water daily to the aquarium not far from a circulating pump. Missed dosages should not be added up. Overdose can harm animals!

The need for iodine increases with population density. Adjust the dosage taking into account the maximum adequate dose indicated below.

Maximum dosage: A dosage of 2 drops of Tropic Marin ® Iod per 200 l of aquarium water should not be exceeded.
