The water is filtered through a fine fleece and automatically driven by a roller as soon as it gets dirty. The fleece is so fine that even single-celled parasites, such as Ichtyo, can be filtered out. With 12V, 4W motor.
Functioning
The polluted water passes through the fleece and enters the drum. Here it goes back into the sump. If the veil is loaded with dirt, the water flow through the veil decreases and the water level outside the drum increases.
As soon as a certain water level is reached, a float switch activates the gear motor and the nonwoven is rewound a little. Fully automatic! Depending on the amount of dirt in the aquarium, a roll of fleece will last 3-6 months. If it is dirty, it must be replaced with a new one. The fleece is fine. Even the smallest particles are retained. Dirt is removed from the system before it biodegrades. This relieves the biofilter and skimmer in the marine aquarium.
When the pickup roller is full or the dispenser roller is empty, you can simply remove it from the filter and replace it with a new one.
