Product Details

Easy-Life Excital is the new product to eliminate cyanobacteria without using antibiotics or compounds containing copper.

Cyanobacteria (or red slime or mucilaginous algae) usually appear when the water temperature rises, with or without high organic water pollution or soil rot.

Excital actively fights against cyanobacteria. Excital is simple and safe to use and harmless to fish or corals. In the event of heavy infestation, it is recommended to first remove as much cyanobacteria as possible by hand and then to administer Excital immediately afterwards.

If necessary, the product can be administered for several days, even with double dosages.

Treatment dosage: For 5 days, add daily 10 ml per 40 liters of water.

So first of all the positive points, easy to use thanks to its measuring cup, the living thing tolerated the treatment very well. Be careful with the sps, I have a few polyps on these species that have retracted. The treatment effectively limits the spread of red algae and cyano during the treatment days, without eliminating it. However, at the end of the curative period, the algae reappeared almost within 24 hours. In the instructions, it's noted that a change is visible after 10 days... well, it's not that visible. Certainly an improvement, but it doesn't solve the problem at all. I'm even going to have to do another treatment, given the exponential growth again... but with another brand this time.
