Stabilizes the pH at 8.3 in the reef aquarium

Intended entirely for the reef aquarium where maintaining a pH of 8.3 is often difficult. Used as prescribed, Reef Buffer will raise the pH of the system to 8.3 without the risk of accidentally raising the pH to an unsafe level.

Reef Buffer will also increase carbonate hardness. Reef buffer is not just sodium carbonate but a mixture of different components.

instructions :

Use 3 g (1/2 teaspoon ) per 150 L (40 gallons) twice a week. Dissolve in at least 250 ml (1 cup) of fresh water. Check alkalinity every 2 weeks and adjust amount or frequency accordingly.
