Why test your pH?

Maintain the most appropriate pH possible, an important condition for the well-being of the occupants as well as for the good growth of aquatic plants. On the other hand, many water-soluble substances can be modified by pH. It is particularly recommended to avoid variations in pH.

How to use the proaquatest test?

Comparative system to correct the coloring of the water itself: Put the water to be tested in a plastic test tube, put the reagent in the test tube, put the two test tubes in the block and read the values on the color chart.

For a new impoundment: once a day for the first week, then once a week.

Recommended pH level:

Freshwater aquarium (community): 6.5-7.5
Malawi-Tanganyika Aquarium: 7.8-9.2
Small aquarium: 6.0-7.0 Marine aquarium: 7.9-8.5
Pelvis: 7.5-8.5
