The electrode rinse solution is ideal for use as an intermediate rinse between samples or calibration solutions to prevent cross-contamination. This flushing solution is also ideal for removing the buildup of basic salt deposits on the probe or cap caused by evaporation of the storage solution. Even though the accumulation of salt deposits is normal, they must be removed before measuring or calibrating. Electrode rinse solution should not replace cleaning or storage solutions.
