Calcium, Magnesium, Strontium and Carbonates are the basic Fundamental Elements of the coral skeleton.

All of these must be available in balanced proportions for healthy, growing corals.

Reef Foundation ABC+ is a blend of all Fundamental Elements with the addition of Potassium, Bromine and Iodine in the specific ratio required by corals.

Although there are small differences between coral species, the useful ratio between these elements is almost the same. Adding all these elements in a fixed ratio following Calcium consumption ensures precise supplementation based on the metabolic demands of the corals.

Reef Foundation ABC+ should be dosed daily or once a week depending on the type of aquarium and the measured Calcium consumption. However, as and when an imbalance between the Fundamental Elements may appear.

If you supplement daily you should test all Building Blocks once a week and make adjustments with liquid supplements A, B & C. If you supplement weekly you should test all Building Blocks once a month and make adjustments with liquid supplements A, B & C.
