FAUNA MARIN - Kalkwasser - 500g - Calcium hydroxide

The lime water method is often used in marine aquariums to increase the calcium and carbonate content of the water. This helps stabilize the pH value and promote the growth of corals and other calcareous organisms.

Use :

Add 1 tablespoon (7-10 g) of calcium hydroxide to 10 liters of osmosis water, stir and let stand in a closed container for several hours. The resulting clear liquid is lime water, which can be added drop by drop to the aquarium.

Dosage advice:

Use a hydroxide (lime water) reactor or dosing pump to add the lime water solution to the aquarium.
