ROYAL NATURE - Calcium Chloride Dihydrate - 4kg

Royal Nature produces a very pure Calcium salt. This Hydrated Calcium Chloride is the ideal solution to increase the concentration of dissolved Calcium in the aquarium. Thanks to its purity, this salt can be used by the pharmaceutical and food industries. As with its other salts, Royal Nature pays particular attention to the quality of the products from its laboratories.

Note: The Calcium available is also very dependent on the amount of Magnesium in the water. Moreover, if the quantity of magnesium available decreases (due to the development of calcareous pink algae for example), then the quantity of calcium available will fall. This caused by the production of calcite.

Use

5 g. (1 teaspoon) will increase calcium levels by approximately 15mg/L in 100L of aquarium water. The level of calcium required is around 420-430mg/L.

Simply dissolve the required amount of Calcium Chloride in 1 to 3 liters of reverse osmosis water, stirring well. Slowly add this solution to your settling.

It is not recommended to increase calcium levels by more than 20mg/L per day. Overdose may damage corals.
