To prepare your solution, dissolve 1 kg of Carbonate Mix in 6 liters of reverse osmosis water, then add 50 ml of Balling Light TRACE 3 and top up with more reverse osmosis water. On average, 10 ml per 100 liters increases the KH by +0.5 dKH. Start by adding the magnesium, then the calcium and carbonate, leaving approximately 10 minutes between each addition. This method ensures a precise and even supply , even for medium-sized aquariums, and maintains stable alkalinity for healthy corals.
