SEACHEM Pristine contains a large number of bacteria capable of breaking down waste, excess food, and other unwanted debris in freshwater and saltwater aquariums. They are also capable of removing grease that can form an unsightly film on the water's surface. This action ultimately helps reduce excess nutrients such as ammonia, nitrates, and nitrites, which can, over time, fuel the growth of algae and pathogens.

SEACHEM Pristine bacteria have the secondary power of clarifying aquarium water and promotes overall good health in your aquarium.

Unlike traditional nitrifying bacteria, this blend of bacteria in SEACHEM Pristine can adapt to harsh environments where there is little oxygen and continue to multiply to improve water conditions.

Before use it is very important to shake the product well and turn off your UV sterilizer for 2 to 3 days if you use one.

For basic dosing, 5 ml is sufficient for 40 L of water. For maintenance, add 5 ml of SEACHEM Pristine to the aquarium for every 80 L.

Caution: Do not use while taking medication. Filter through activated charcoal to remove any drug residue.
