Potassium is an often underestimated trace element, yet it is vital in a reef tank. Too low levels result in a loss of color intensity , particularly in Acropora and Montipora which become pale, especially in pink, blue and purple shades. Invertebrates are not left out: a deficiency can cause molting problems in crustaceans , slow their movements or even reduce the production of protective mucus in snails.

The ATI ICP Element Kalium solution provides a simple and effective solution. Each milliliter added increases potassium by 1 mg/l per 100 liters of water . It is recommended not to exceed 40 mg/l per day , or 40 ml per 100 liters , to avoid any ionic imbalance. With its large capacity, this bottle is designed to last and cover the needs of aquariums of all sizes.

Potassium deficiencies are common and often linked to specific maintenance practices: use of zeolite , sea salt too low in potassium, unbalanced two-component systems, or even the absence of targeted compensation.
