Sulfur plays a discreet but fundamental role in the metabolism of marine organisms. In particular, it is essential for the formation of sulfur amino acids , which contribute to tissue construction and structural strength. In cases of deficiency, slow growth and a weakening of the structure of soft corals and gorgonians can be observed.

This deficiency is common in tanks using calcium/KH supplementation systems without sulfur. In addition, some sea salts are naturally low in sulfur ions. ATI ICP sulfur fills this gap with an ultra-pure powder, produced and quality controlled 100% in Germany, compliant with European standards (CLP No. 1272/2008).

ATI Sulphur Powder is packaged in 500g jars, containing a total of 112,500mg of pure sulphur . Each gram added to 100 litres of water increases the sulphur level by 2.25mg/l. To simplify, a level spoonful of 22.5g increases the sulphur level by approximately 50mg/l per 100 litres. The manufacturer recommends not exceeding an increase of 100mg/l per day , or a maximum of 44.5g/100l.
