How to use Iron Bottom?

The slow dissolution of the stick in water allows a gentle and constant distribution of nutrients to the roots. Regular sticks are ideal for standard 60cm aquariums, and long sticks are ideal for large aquariums and densely vegetated aquariums.

If the stick detaches from the substrate, the water may become cloudy and algae may grow. Insert the stick deep into the material.

When used correctly, the appearance of algae is not due to IRON BOTTOM. In case of algae infestation, instead of removing the stick from the substrate, continue to replace the water and sprinkle with GREEN BACTER or GREEN GAIN to disinfect the water.

Store in a cool, dry place. A pale white film may form on unused sticks. It does not affect their performance.

What is the dosage?

Place one stick in a 15cm x 15cm area of substrate (use eight sticks for a standard 60cm aquarium). Insert the stick deep into the substrate. Place the stick away from the roots of the plant. The Bottom Release makes this process quick and easy. The nutritional effects of IRON BOTTOM last 2-4 months. When you change sticks, insert a new one somewhere else. Nutrient residues may remain in the previous location.

It is recommended to use bacter ball to stimulate nutrient absorption. Use the GREEN BRIGHTY series as a liquid fertilizer.
