A zinc supplement for marine and reef aquariums

Dosage of Aquaforest Zincum Lab 200 ml
One ml of Zincum Lab increases the zinc level by 4 µg/l in 100 liters of water. The maximum recommended dose is 1 ml per 100 liters per day .
If the necessary correction exceeds this amount, it should be spread over several days. This gradual approach limits excessively rapid changes and allows for better control of the aquarium's reaction.
- 100 litres: 1 ml increases zinc by 4 µg/l.
- 250 litres: 2.5 ml increases zinc by 4 µg/l.
- 500 litres: 5 ml increases zinc by 4 µg/l.
The dosage should be adjusted to the actual needs of the aquarium.
Each aquarium consumes trace elements at a different rate. The dosage depends in particular on the net volume, the coral population, their growth, water changes, and the maintenance method used.
Zincum Lab should therefore not be added at a fixed dose to all tanks. Its use should be adapted to the actual zinc consumption and adjusted based on the results of regular analyses.
Both too low and too high a concentration can affect the inhabitants of the aquarium. It is therefore recommended to make corrections gradually and to regularly monitor the zinc level.
Zincum Lab usage instructions
Before use, the bottle must be shaken. The required quantity can then be measured using a graduated syringe, which is particularly practical for small doses.
The product should be poured into a well-circulated area of the aquarium or sump to ensure even dispersion. Avoid direct application to corals or other animals.
For accurate use, the calculation must be made from the actual net volume of the installation , taking into account the water present in the tank and the settling tank, but also the volume occupied by the decoration and the sand.
