Reef Delete uses patented technologies coupled with a handcrafted, ultra-focused UV-C LED to effectively destroy DNA inside aquarium pests.

Our unique and exclusive wavelength destroys DNA in the cells of a target organism, causing cellular function to stop and ultimately the pest to naturally shut down and disintegrate. All it takes is a single long/several short exposures daily to cause devastating damage to the target organism.

This is achieved without using chemicals or causing accidental harm to other aquarium inhabitants. Unlike chemical treatments, you cannot overdose Reef Delete on a target specimen. The greater the exposure, the faster the organism will break down - and you can do this as much as you like without fear of damaging your water chemistry!

The Reef Delete uses very high quality custom ultra narrow beam optics on its LED, including a silica quartz outer lens - all UV-C grade for ultimate transmission. Everything has been built in a dive-proof grade CNC aluminum enclosure and is IP68 rated. The special optic is what helps Reef Delete drive UV-C deep into the target organism.

To make using Reef Delete safe, we've built in security features to protect against accidental activation outside of the aquarium, protecting the user and accidental activation by users who shouldn't get their hands on it , like our children! Reef Delete cannot be activated out of water and will stop if removed from navigation if the power button is held down.

WARNING: Reef Delete is a powerful Class 3 UV-C light source. UV-C is harmful to the eyes and skin of humans and animals. Users should always follow the instructions and use the provided UV400 goggles. That said, UV-C cannot penetrate glass or acrylic well and we include a UV-C test card which has a special printed section that only glows under UV-C light so you can making sure no UVC is escaping through your tank as well as checking that it is working.. because we can't see UV light!
