A supplemental oxygen supply is essential for many fish and a wide variety of aquariums.
To feel in their element, fish need water with a balanced oxygen content: they are then subjected to less stress and display brighter colours.

If the water temperature is high or your aquarium contains few plants, an additional supply of oxygen is essential. Air operated filters and decorative items can also be used with these pumps.
