Unlike other products, Red Cyano Rx does not color the water in your aquariums.

It is recommended that your aquarium pH be above 8.0, before you begin adding Red Cyano Rx. This product can lower the pH and may affect the alkalinity in your aquarium, so it is recommended that you use a buffering agent and monitor your pH and alkalinity when dosing Red Cyano Rx.

Dosage:

For best results, siphon off as much cyano bacteria as possible from your aquarium. Remove a cup of water from your aquarium.
Mix 1 scoop of Red Cyano Rx in the cup per 10 gallons (37.9 liters) of water in your aquarium.
Dissolve carefully and pour the solution into the aquarium. After 24 hours of treatment, perform a 25% water change and you can now turn the protein skimmer back on, resume using activated carbon and ozone, you may notice some extra foaming produced by your skimmer.
If cyano bacteria are still viable, 48 hours after treatment, perform a 25% water change and repeat dose.
