Why use DIY Refill?

On nano-tanks, the loss of water by evaporation is very high and continuous filling by hand can cause problems, especially during a short absence. Evaporation increases the density of salt in the reservoir, which puts the inhabitants of the reservoir under stress.

This automatic, powerless recharging system is the perfect addition to your small to medium sized aquarium. With the DIY Refill you can safely refill evaporated water. Due to the high quality it is suitable for marine and freshwater aquariums. The DIY refill kit also contains a bottle of high-quality filter bacteria, Bacto ReefBlend, for automatic dosing into the tank via the refill system. The constant supply of the solution via the refill system is ideal for optimizing the effectiveness of the filtering bacteria contained in the solution and increasing their efficiency. The bacteria support the natural biofilm and ensure a clean aquarium.

The DIY charging system can be easily installed on glass from 3 to 10 mm thick in just a few steps and the operation is particularly safe, as it works without electricity. We deliver the DIY Recharge with a bottle adapter. Thus, bottles with a capacity of 2 l can be used as a reservoir.
