• Why do you have cyanobacteria and/or algae? Because there are nutrients in the water and no competitor to remove those nutrients before they are consumed by cyano or algae.
• Who are these competitors and where are they? They are bacteria. However, it turns out that your protein skimmer/UV/ozonizer destroys bacteria in the water but not the cyanobacteria and algae that are attached to the walls of the aquarium.

The long term solution to the cyanobacteria/algae problem is to add bacteria to your system that can consume the nutrients and then remove those organisms, thus removing the nutrients from the system.

We recommend using our Cyanobacteria & Algae Control program to achieve this goal. We combine a range of bacteria that will repel the cyano/algae, then they add in competitors that remove the nutrients.

Then we use the protein skimmer to remove the bacteria, thereby removing the nutrients.
Just follow the daily schedule to restore all the nutrients to your aquarium.

The day you start the program will be the day you use the first ampule, then you will be guided through the ampules to achieve great results.

Once your cyano/algae problem has been solved, we strongly advise you to use our Maintenance program, which will allow you to maintain an aquarium without
cyanobacteria and algae-free.
